Alex Elizondo, Owner and Director
​

Nino Alex Elizondo, LCSW-R, C-SWHC, C-ASWCM, is Owner and Director of Clinical Services at Mobile Counseling of NY, PLLC.

 

With over 20 years of experience treating individuals, families and groups, Mr. Elizondo is a skilled clinician with a wide range of experience in medical and psychiatric disorders.

​

A six-year veteran of the Army National Guard, Mr. Elizondo served as a Medical Service Officer before deploying to Kandahar, Afghanistan to serve as Officer in Charge for one Behavioral Health Unit with on-call responsibilities for an additional unit.

Matthew Scheuer, LCSW

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Director of Operations at Mobile Counseling of New York, Matthew’s background in the fields of both healthcare and military are critical to our organization.

​

In both direct care and leadership roles, Matthew has served diverse populations across Central and Western New York and treated a multitude of psychological disorders. He is a 13-year veteran and Captain of the United States Army, serving as a Medical Service Corps officer with various levels of leadership in military healthcare.

​

During his time at the Crisis Response for the Veterans Crisis Line with the Department of Veteran Affairs, he helped Veterans in the midst of a crisis by utilizing various therapeutic techniques and interventions to stabilize them until help arrived.  

​

Matthew has served two combat tours in Afghanistan and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars

Pablo Hurtado, DSW, LMSW
​

As Director of Government Relations and Community Engagement and a mobile clinician, Dr. Hurtado draws upon his extensive experience in behavioral health and substance abuse counseling to serve the clients of Mobile Counseling of New York. He extensively studied the benefits of mobile counseling in his doctoral capstone.

 

With 17 years of service in the Army National Guard, Dr. Hurtado has had two combat deployments to Afghanistan, serving as a Behavioral Health Counselor. He developed the first Army Substance Abuse Program in Afghanistan during his last deployment. Through this initiative, he sought to aid in the safe transition of the Service Members back home to receive treatment for Substance Use Disorders (SUD).
