Individual Therapy
One-on-one counseling with a licensed clinician, tailored to your unique needs, goals, and pace. Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, depression, or just trying to figure out what comes next, we meet you where you are.
You don't need a diagnosis to benefit from therapy
People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. Some know exactly what they need help with. Others just know something feels off. Both are valid starting points.
Anxiety & Worry
Persistent worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, phobias, and the physical symptoms that come with them. Learn tools to manage anxiety and reclaim your daily life.
Depression
Low mood, loss of motivation, hopelessness, and difficulty functioning. Therapy helps identify patterns, build coping skills, and reconnect with what matters to you.
Trauma & PTSD
Processing painful experiences, flashbacks, nightmares, hypervigilance, and emotional numbness. Our clinicians use evidence-based trauma approaches to help you heal safely.
Grief & Loss
Navigating the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, or any significant change. Grief looks different for everyone, and there is no right timeline.
Life Transitions
Career changes, divorce, moving, retirement, new parenthood, and other major shifts. Therapy provides support and clarity when life feels uncertain.
Self-Esteem & Identity
Struggling with self-worth, identity questions, perfectionism, or feeling stuck. Build a stronger sense of who you are and what you want.
Anger Management
Difficulty controlling anger, frequent frustration, or emotional outbursts. Learn to understand your triggers and respond rather than react.
Stress & Burnout
Chronic stress from work, caregiving, or daily demands. Develop sustainable coping strategies before burnout takes over.
How Individual Therapy Works
No two therapy journeys look the same, but here is the general process so you know what to expect.
Initial Assessment
Your first session (45 to 60 minutes) is a conversation, not a test. Your therapist will ask about what brought you in, your background, and what you hope to get out of therapy.
Treatment Planning
Together, you and your therapist set clear, personalized goals. This plan guides your work and can be adjusted as your needs evolve.
Regular Sessions
Weekly or biweekly sessions, typically 45 to 50 minutes. Your therapist uses evidence-based approaches tailored to you, building skills and processing experiences at your pace.
Progress & Growth
Regular check-ins on your goals, adjustments to the plan as needed, and celebrating the progress you make along the way. Therapy ends when you are ready.
Approaches We Use
Our clinicians are trained in multiple therapeutic modalities and tailor their approach to what works best for you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Identifies and changes unhelpful thought patterns that drive emotions and behavior. One of the most researched and effective approaches for anxiety, depression, and more.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Builds skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Especially helpful for intense emotions and relationship challenges.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
A structured approach to processing traumatic memories by reducing their emotional intensity. Highly effective for PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Helps you accept difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to actions aligned with your values. Builds psychological flexibility.
Motivational Interviewing
A collaborative approach that strengthens your own motivation for change. Effective for ambivalence about making life changes, substance use, and health behaviors.
Schema Therapy
Addresses deep-rooted patterns (schemas) formed in childhood that affect adult relationships, self-image, and coping. Combines cognitive, behavioral, and experiential techniques.
