About Tina
My approach to counseling is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and meeting people where they are. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to recognize their own strengths. My work is grounded in a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, with a strong focus on helping youth and families build confidence, resilience, self-advocacy skills, and meaningful connections within their communities. I value collaboration and believe healing and growth happen through trust, consistency, creativity, and genuine human connection. What I find most rewarding about being a therapist is witnessing people begin to believe in themselves again. I value being able to support individuals through difficult moments while helping them discover their potential, voice, and sense of purpose. Working with youth and families to help remove barriers, celebrate progress, and create opportunities for success is deeply meaningful to me. Seeing someone feel empowered, connected, and hopeful about their future is the greatest reward of this work.
