About Jocelyn

As a person with chronic illnesses and my own mental health journey, it is so important to me to be able to offer something a value to anyone I work with for their mental health. Not just another breathing exercise, but something you can leave with that makes your life substantially different. Therapy isn't magic, it's work. It might be cliche, but you get what you put into it, right? That goes both ways. As a clinician, I want to see you. Whether that's over telephone or in person I want to see who you are and what you really need in your situation. I believe in seeing the person first. I believe in personal choice. I believe in dignity, respect, and Independence. As a clinician I tend to say exactly what I believe needs to be said without mincing words. Never intending to be mean or short, but I don't withhold what needs to be done for your sake. If you like that it works well, if you don't then that might not be the best fit for you. Finally, I love to see people grow. I want to see you continually becoming. I want to see reach your goals I want to see you have goals. I want to help you see where you want to be and what you need to do to get there. I'll remind you about the commitments you made to yourself and help you along the way and I'll make sure that the steps are possible so that you can continuously be successful.
