Julia Faulise, LCSW
Hi, I’m Julia Faulise (She/Her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York with over 3 1/2 years of experience walking alongside adults as they process pain, rediscover strength, and create meaningful change. Whether you're facing anxiety, navigating grief, or working through trauma, I’m here to help you feel grounded, supported, and empowered.

Education & Credentials:
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University at Buffalo in 2021, following undergraduate studies at SUNY Fredonia. Since then, I’ve worked in a variety of therapeutic settings, developing a compassionate and client-focused approach to care. My toolbox includes a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices—all tailored to fit your needs.

Areas of Specialization:
I specialize in working with adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, and grief. Whether you're grieving a loss, healing from a painful past, or overwhelmed by daily stress, I offer a safe space to process, reflect, and grow.

Therapeutic Style:
My approach is empathetic, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I see therapy as a journey we take together—one where you set the pace, and I provide the tools, support, and perspective to help you move forward. I aim to create an environment where you feel truly heard, respected, and never judged.
What I love most about this work is watching clients discover just how resilient they really are. It’s deeply humbling and incredibly inspiring to witness someone find new ways of coping, deeper self-understanding, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Why I Became a Therapist:
I've always been drawn to the strength of the human spirit—and the incredible healing that can happen when someone feels truly supported. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural fit, and every day I get to do this work reminds me why I chose this path.
