Joy Rock, LCSW
Meet Joy! With 20 years of experience in the field, I work with clients who are invested in making lasting changes to their emotional health. My approach is practical and solution-focused, helping clients identify roadblocks and develop small, meaningful steps toward change. A typical session includes discussing daily stressors, past challenges, and coping mechanisms, while integrating CBT and DBT techniques to provide effective tools for managing symptoms. Many of my clients begin to see positive changes within six months.

Who I Work With
I specialize in working with older teens, adults, and LGBTQ+ individuals struggling with disordered eating, agoraphobia, sleep problems, and relationship challenges.

Therapeutic Approach
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build coping strategies, challenge negative thought patterns, and improve emotional well-being.
